8/9/22 – This is an original US M3 Utica fighting knife with an early style M8 Scabbard. The knife is maker stamped on the blade as shown. The edge has been sharpened and the finish is mostly missing throughout the blade. Most of the blade wear is surface patina and signs of use so this is considered a nice “battle-worn” example. The hand guard and pommel display natural dark patina and the leather handle shows signs of aging and handling. Ordnance stamped on the pommel. The scabbard shows similar natural age and use wear but no excessive damage.
