8/2/22 – This is a Winchester Model 1892 saddle ring lever-action carbine from 1919. 20in round barrel chambered for .25-20 WCF. The bore has strong rifling is shiny but there is some pitting throughout. The rifle shows deep patina on the receiver and bands, but the bluing on the barrel is in very good condition overall. The wood has various dings and nicks but no cracks. Lever-action is still fairly smooth but the gun could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning.
