8/2/22 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. It is all matching (except for the rear toggle pin) and has the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is very minor thinning on both grip straps, where there is also some light brown patina. Areas of minor wear on the side plate, front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. A few very light handling marks along the barrel. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips and a mismatched magazine that is “Eagle 83” proofed. The bore has strong rifling but there is light spotty oxidation throughout.
