7/26/22 – This is an original US M3 Fighting Knife made by PAL. The blade is maker stamped as shown, and is in excellent condition. We believe this knife was re-parkerized in an arsenal either during WW2 or immediately after. Since this example is blade marked, it’s likely this is an earlier wartime production. The blade shows no signs of sharpening but has evidence of light pinpricking that has been parkereized over. The hand guard and pommel have similar style finish. The pommel is ordnance stamped as well. The handle is in great shape with tight leather. Comes with a repainted US M8 scabbard.
