7/19/22 – This is an original WW2 German enlisted / field army belt & buckle. The buckle still retains a majority of the olive painted finish. There is some mild patina along the edges and detailed areas of the eagle and wreath. The interior of the buckle is 1940 dated with a N&H maker stamp. The leather tab attached to the buckle is also 1940 date stamped and maker stamped. The belt is in great condition with the original clasping hook attached on one end. This hook also still retains some of the olive field paint. The leather shows aging but no cracking or notable flaws. Great overall condition.
