7/13/22 – This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs. This one is scarce because it has a single-line slide legend. It is in the proper “n” serial block for this variation. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is minor wear concentrated mostly around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Very minor thinning and light brown patina on the front strap. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips and a period-correct “Eagle 359” marked Walther magazine. Excellent shiny bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
