6/14/22 – This is a nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in January of 1944. It is all matching and comes as a rig with a period-correct rubberized canvas holster and one proper magazine that is mismatched to the gun. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also spotty brown patina. Areas of minor wear around the tang, at the front right edge of the slide, and around the muzzle. Comes with nice matching – numbered wood grips. Some minor chipping in the wood on the left side near the magazine release button. Mint bore.
