6/2/22 – This is a very nice M1892 Krag rifle bayonet with an original scabbard. The bayonet is dated 1902 on one side of the ricasso and US stamped on the other. There is some mild surface discoloration but overall the blade is in excellent condition considering its age. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard is excellent with no dents or major issues and very nice original blued finish throughout. The belt hanger is still attached as well. A very nice, early bayonet.
