5/26/22 – This is a stunning example of a Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market. It is all matching and properly “Double Crown U” proofed. Comes as a rig with a nice pebble grain tan leather holster and two period-correct magazines. The holster appears to be dated 1917. There is some stitching missing around the toe of the holster, and some of the stitching on the closure strap has been repaired. The gun itself has retained virtually all of its original bluing with just the faintest hints of wear on some of the high edges. Great fire-bluing on the small parts. Comes with an excellent period-correct wood. Mint bore.
