5/13/22 – This is an original 1942 dated P.38 holster from WW2. The back of the holster is maker stamped with a bearskin oakleaf 9 and dated 1942. There’s a very faint P.38 stamp, and a waffen proof stamp as well. The holster is in good condition despite having a replaced lift strap. The leather has some surface wrinkling and mild cracking near the toe, but this isn’t deep into the leather. The top leather also has some surface wear but no excessive damage. No stitching issues.
