5/11/22 – This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It is all matching and has a fully intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It has the original base to its monopod on the rear barrel band, but the monopod itself has broken off. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with very little finish loss. There is just an area of very light freckling on the receiver and some dings in the metal on the rear barrel band. The stock has its typical rough appearance, most noticeable on the front half of the stock. It looks like there may be a hairline crack in the upper handguard. Mint bore.
