5/9/22 – This is an early WW2 production LP34 duraluminum Walther flare pistol. The flare pistol is made by Walther and all matching. The anodized finish has a greenish hue, as shown and is in about 70% intact. The majority of the finish loss is found on the barrel and upper-portion of the pistol. This is mostly finish loss and edge wear / muzzle wear. There’s some mild patina throughout the trigger and hammer. The hammer and trigger are both fire blued, which is an attractive early feature. The right side of the barrel and frame have commercial proof stamps, which tells us this was likely sold commercially before being re-issued to the military or police during WW2. The small parts all have eagle/359 Walther acceptance proofs. Fully functional with a clean bore. The grips are original and in great condition.
