5/6/22 – This is a rare Winchester Model 1895 from 1915 that was one of only hundreds ordered by the NRA as approved for competition shooting. Sharp ‘N.R.A.’ marking on the left side of the receiver. The gun is all original with maybe 40% of the bluing remaining. The barrel has nice bluing but it’s otherwise thin throughout. Bore has nice rifling but frost and freckling throughout. Action appears correct and smooth. The stock has various nicks and dings but no cracks.
