5/5/22 – This is a nice example of a Type II Paratrooper rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is all matching, including the conjoining parts in the middle Unfortunately, the original Imperial mum stamp on the receiver has been ground. The gun is in nice condition overall, but there is noticeable brown patina covering all of the metal parts. There is some finish loss where the mum was ground and some thinning on the floor plate. There are noticeable dings, bruises, and scratches on the stock throughout, but there is no serious damage. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling, but there are a few areas of very light oxidation.
