5/4/22 – This is a minty example of a Springfield M1 Garand issued to the July of 1942. The barrel is dated July of 1942, and the stock has the proper military inspection proof. The gun has been entirely professionally restored, refinished, and the stamps on the stock may have been reapplied. In any case, the gun is in beautiful condition, retaining most of its finish. There are just some very light scuffs on the barrel and gas tube. The stock is mint. Comes with a green canvas sling. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking in the grooves. Muzzle reading: 4. Throat reading: 2.
