5/3/22 – This is a nice example of an Enfield No 2 Mk 1 revolver issued to the British military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper British military proofs throughout. “England” export stamp on the left side of the frame. The gun comes as a complete rig with an excellent 1942-dated canvas holster, original cleaning rod, canvas ammo pouch, and a period-correct canvas belt with the name “Gillespie” written on the inside. The gun itself has retained roughly 75-80% of its military finish. Generally, there is thinning throughout and minor wear concentrated around the high edges. Some small spots of discoloration here and there. Comes with nice period-correct black bakelite grips. Mint bore. We just listed some ammo that would go with this gun. SKU is 050322-4.
