4/22/22 – This is a rare and original Winchester Model 12 trench shotgun from 1943. It correctly has a crossed cannons cartouche and Guy H. Drewry inspectors mark on the stock, and the receiver is U.S. marked with a flaming bomb, as well. This gun is in the proper serial range and dates to 1943. About 60,000 total Winchester Model 12’s were produced for WW2 but many went into riot or training configurations. The finish on this one is original throughout but does show some wear on the barrel, heat shield and high edges of the receiver. Excellent bore and smooth action. Comes with an original leather sling.
