4/13/22 – This is an original WW1 Imperial Navy belt buckle with an attached brocade style belt. Also included is a smaller version of the same buckle, but with only a piece of the brocade belt attached. The larger buckle is in great condition with some mild surface patina and finish loss at the high points and edges of the buckle. The reverse has some surface scratching, but no markings or stamps. The belt shows light aging throughout and mild staining but no fraying issues or structural issues. The larger buckle is about 2.5 inches in diameter. The smaller buckle has significantly more dark discoloration throughout, and measures about 1.75 inches in diameter.
