4/11/22 – This is an original WW2 production Type 30 bayonet for a T38 or T99 Arisaka rifle. The bayonet blade has great bluing throughout with some mild surface wear in a few spots, but no signs or sharpening, nor any rust or pitting. There’s a maker stamp on one side of the ricasso, and there’s some of the original leather stopper still intact. The wood handle has a few mild surface dings and typical signs of aging. The metal portion of the hilt has patina throughout, mixed with the original finish. The metal scabbard has no dents, but there is mild surface patina throughout, as well as some rust along one side and somewhat on the front of the scabbard. Comes with a nice canvas/leather frog.
