4/8/22 – This is a very nice and original example of a scarce 1906 DWM Luger with American Eagle crest over chamber. It’s one of about 8,000 produced in .30 Luger, all from 1906-1912. The American Eagle crest was added as part of a successful marketing campaign to sell more Lugers in other countries, specifically the United States. It’s all matching and original with minor wear on the barrel and front strap, and some patina on the rear strap. Unnumbered wood grips and magazine base, both in great condition. Terrific bore.
