4/15/22 – This is a fairly scarce 1941 hard shell style P.38 holster from WW2. The holster is notably stamped on the back leather with a waffen proof stamp and a numbered manufacturer code “0/0836/0029” which corresponds to Hans Deuter, BMO maker code. This numbered code was only used in 1941 along with the WaA383 proof stamp (as shown on this example). The leather has wrinkling throughout and is generally pliable showing signs of use and aging. No stitching flaws and fairly clean interior leather. A very nice, early and fairly rare example P.38 holster.
