4/5/22 – This is an “AC 40” Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. There is what looks like a peened marking on the left side of the frame. The gun has an old re-blued finish. It has retained roughly 60% of its new bluing. The majority of the wear is on both sides of the slide. Thinning and brown patina on the front strap. There is pin-pricking and tiny dots of oxidation covering most of the gun. A few light dings on the right side of the slide. Comes with very nice “Eagle 359” proofed grips and an un-numbered Walther magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
