3/31/22 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. The gun is all matching and has the proper Imperial military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of spotty wear along the whole barrel, but there is also an area of noticeable splotchy discoloration on the front strap. Noticeable wear on the side plate as well. There is minor wear around the high edges in general. Tiny dots of oxidation on the left side of the frame. Comes with slightly worn un-numbered wood grips. Also comes with a mismatched arsenal-numbered magazine. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with pin-pricking throughout.
