3/31/22 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser HSC issued to the Kriegsmarine in 1943. The gun is all matching and is a 3rd-variation example, characterized by the iconic Kriegsmarine “Eagle M” marking on the front strap and “Eagle 111/8” proof on the left side of the trigger guard. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its original finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some light spotty discoloration on the right side of the slide. Very minor wear around the muzzle and very minor thinning on the grip straps. One small spot of wear on the front strap. There are tiny dots of oxidation and pin-pricking along both sides of the slide and on the grip straps. Comes with very nice period-correct wood grips (a few minor scratches and bruises) and one period-correct magazine. Minty bore. Note: the slide does not lock back on its own.
