3/25/22 – This is a nice example of a CZ Model 24 issued to the Czech military in 1937. Unfortunately, the slide legend on the top of the slide has been ground off, so we cannot say for sure if the gun is all matching. However, the condition of the slide does match the frame and does appear to have come with this frame. The gun does have the proper Czech Lion proofs. It comes as a rig with a with a period-correct numbered magazine (does not match the gun) and a 1934-dated holster that has a Weimar-era German Waffen proof on the back. Overall, the gun has retained roughly 80% of its original high polish finish. There is spotty wear on the front strap and along the round edges of both sides of the slide. There is no finish where the slide legend has been ground. Comes with a very nice period-correct grip – there is no chipping in the corners, but there are some tiny chips on the right side around the CZ logo. Excellent bore.
