3/24/22 – This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper “G.H.D.” inspector initials, and has the proper cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. Comes with a High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear around the muzzle, one small spot of wear on the left side of the slide, and some light spotty wear on the front strap. Comes with a set of excellent period-correct grips and one un-marked magazine. The bore is near-mint.
