3/23/22 – This is a nice example of a very early Walther PP from 1930, one of the first ~3,500 produced. Early features include the covered firing pin, 90 degree safety and reversed serial number. The original blue rates at maybe 93-95% as there isn’t much finish loss, but some visible patina and oxidation on the straps. Left side slide has a little bit of pinpricking throughout. Excellent, shiny bore. Finger extension magazine with a small crack in the base. Left grip panel has the common crack along the edge where the internal weight causes separation.
