3/18/22 – This is a matching and original Walther P.38 rig from 1943. It’s a scarce variation with ‘ac 43’ marking in a single line on the slide, only found in the ‘n’ and ‘m’ serial blocks, one of about 18,000 made. The gun has a very nice profile with minor holster wear on the high edges, but most of the finish loss is on the front strap. Excellent grips with no notable defects. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout. The rig includes a total of two Walther magazines. It’s completed by a nice brown hardshell holster that was also made in 1943, and is ‘hft’ maker-marked.
