3/16/22 – This is a nice example of an Inglis Mk 1* Hi Power issued to the Canadian military in about September of 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper Canadian proofs. No maple leaf decal on the front strap. This gun also comes with an excellent period-correct 1945-dated wood shoulder stock. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original matte finish. Most of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also spotty oxidation. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide and tiny pin-pricking covering most of the frame. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips and one proper magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling and some very light freckling here and there. The wood stock is near-mint. Barely-visible import marks on both sides of the frame against the grips.
