3/10/22 – This is a beautiful example of a Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown U” commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with an excellent and rare Geco commercial holster and two period-correct magazines. The holster is in excellent condition, marked “Geco” on the closure strap, and has a completely intact “Mauser 7.65” ink stamp on the inside. The gun itself has retained about 98% of its original bluing. The fire-bluing on the small parts is mostly intact. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle and an area of very minor thinning at the back of the left side of the frame. Comes with a minty period-correct wood grip. The bore is near-mint.
