3/3/22 – This is an original, rare variation WW2 Japanese paratrooper bayonet with the original scabbard. The bayonet is in excellent condition with the original finish in tact throughout the blade, hilt, and sheath. The spine of the hilt is maker stamped by Nagoya Arsenal. Serial numbered 2647 on the pommel. No markings on the blade, though it does show light signs of sharpening. No cracks or chips in the wood handle, and no dents in the scabbard. These were issued with the Type 100 Submachine Gun, and various Paratrooper rifles.
