2/25/22 – This is a rare 1920 DWM Luger with large M/anchor Reichsmarine property mark over ‘N.53.’ property mark, indicating it went to the Nordsee base. The gun is all matching and original with minor high edge wear on the profile, but most of the bluing loss on the grip straps. Right side of receiver also has a casting defect but doesn’t seem like it would cause any issue other than aesthetically. Nice, sharply checkered grips that are unmarked. The magazine is period original with Naval property marking on the base, though it is mismatched to this gun. Excellent, shiny bore.
