2/24/22 – This is an original example of a “BYF 41” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 655” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1940-dated holster, an “Eagle 655” tool, and two original matching-numbered magazines. The holster has some dried adhesive in two places where there were some stickers. The gun itself has retained about 98% of its original finish with just hints of wear on some of the high edges. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is minor freckling on the backstrap and areas with tiny pits predominantly around the muzzle, left side of the barrel, left side of the frame, and on the right side rail. Comes with a set of minty wood grips that are not numbered, but they are waffen-proofed on the inside. Mint bore.
