2/22/22 – This is a nice example of a Hi Power pistol made in the DGFM factory in Argentina in the 1970’s. This one has an “07” serial prefix, indicating it was intended for international export. The “scrubbed” info read “carabineros de chile”. The Chileans ordered these, and a political dispute resulted in the cancellation of the contract and those markings being scrubbed. There are only about 5,000 such examples. It is all matching and has an import mark on the underside of the slide. It has retained roughly 75% of its black painted finish. There is chipping in the finish throughout, but it is most noticeable on the top of the slide and on the front strap. Comes with worn wood grips – hairline crack in the right panel. Also comes with one proper magazine. The bore is near-mint.
