2/22/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The whole upper of the gun is mismatched to the whole lower, but it does have the proper “Eagle 655” Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. “42” Mauser factory code on the toggle. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the front edges of the side rails, on the chamber, and on the side plate. Generally, there is minor freckling in the same areas. There is very minor thinning and light brown patina on both grip straps. Comes with excellent un-numbered wood grips and a post-war magazine. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling, but there is minor freckling throughout. This example would make a great shooter.
