2/18/22 – This is an original 1940 dated K98 bayonet with a matching scabbard and black leather frog. The bayonet has a beautifully blued blade that’s in excellent condition. No signs of sharpening and no significant finish loss. Maker stamped, serial numbered, and date stamped on the spine. The grips are in great shape as well, and the metal portions of the handle have some mild patina. The scabbard has thinning throughout and a few very minor dents but no major issues. The frog is maker stamped and 1939 dated on the back leather.
