2/9/22 – This is a Fireman’s helmet that was later issued to the Police during WW2. There’s a mild outline from a comb showing on the back of the helmet. There’s also two covered rivet marks on the crown and back of the exterior shell. This shows there was once a comb on the exterior prior to being issued to the police. Both decals are in excellent condition and the exterior has no dents or issues. The interior shell is maker stamped. The liner is clean and still shows faint remnants of various ink stamps. The chin strap is black leather and in great condition as well. A very nice overall example.
