2/9/22 – This is a super rare Colt M1911 from 1914 that was shipped to the U.S. Marine Corps. One of only 500 sent to the USMC that year! It has about 94-95% of the Colt brushed blue remaining, with wear on the left side of the slide toward the muzzle, a patch of bluing loss on the trigger guard and a little more on the mainspring housing. Proper ‘P H’ marked barrel with excellent bore that matches the condition of the pistol. ‘H’ on rear of slide and inside of frame. Sharply checkered grips with only minor handling wear. Early two-tone magazine with lanyard ring.
