2/8/22 – This is a minty example of an Ortgies Semi Auto Pistol manufactured in the 1920’s and chambered in 7.65mm. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. There is a “Germany” export marking on the underside of the frame, indicating it was intended for sale in the international commercial market. The gun has retained about 98% of its original bluing with just hints of wear around the high edges. While there is next-to-no actual finish loss, there are tiny freckles on every surface of the gun. A few very light scratches here and there. It comes with nice correct wood grips – some tiny bruises here and there. Also comes with a satin-nickeled magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is very minor pin-pricking throughout.
