2/8/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser HSC issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It has retained about 97% of its bluing. There are areas of very minor thinning on both sides of the frame and on the grip straps. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is brown patina and tiny dots of oxidation on the whole frame. There are hints of wear and tiny pits along the high edges of the slide. The gun comes with worn period-correct grips – small chip in the top corner of the left panel. Also comes with a period-correct half-moon magazine. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling.
