2/3/22 – This is a beautiful Nazi G Code Mauser Luger from 1935. The blue rates at about 97-98% but we do believe this example was partially restored. It appears the straw was re-applied, and the sideplate refinished at some point. The gun is otherwise in excellent condition and original finish elsewhere. Other possible exception is the back of the frame where the toggle strikes, as previous hit marks are still visible under the blue there. Beautiful replacement grips with sharp checkering. Period magazine with mismatched serial number, and it appears the E/154 proof was double stamped or re-applied. Bore is generally clean with strong rifling but some frost throughout.
