2/1/22 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is almost entirely mismatched but has no import mark. The original Imperial stamp on the receiver has been ground off. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is very little finish loss, but there is noticeable dark brown patina and tiny dots of oxidation throughout. The stock has dings, dents, and scratches throughout (typical for these guns). There are a few more noticeable gouges near the muzzle end. The bore is mint.
