1/27/22 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1860 Army revolver manufactured in 1862. The gun is all matching and has the iconic Naval engagement scene on the cylinder. The gun has lost about half of its finish with fairly even thinning in the blue throughout. There are small dots of discoloration on the brass frame from age. The scene on the cylinder is faint and almost not visible anymore. Comes with period-correct wood grips that have visible military acceptance stamps on both sides. There is a series of noticeable dings along both bottom edges of the grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting and oxidation throughout. The barrel wedge is a little loose but does hold the barrel in place.
