1/18/22 – This is a rare Colt M1903 that was made in 1945 and issued to the U.S. military. The gun is marked U.S. Property and has a crossed cannon cartouche, as well. It was later presented to Brigadier General Frederick Prall Munson. We couldn’t find a lot of information online about Munson, but we highlighted what info we could find in our Youtube video posted 1/16/22. These guns were often re-worked at RIA when they were presented, so the slide and frame are mismatched here, which is common for these presentation pistols. The pistol is in excellent condition with just a little wear along the left edges of the slide. Minty bore and grips. The gun is listed by serial in Brunner’s Colt book.
