1/7/22 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is completely matching and has a fully intact mum stamp on the receiver. The gun comes as a complete assembly with an original bayonet, scabbard (with leather frog), monopod, dust cover, cleaning rod, and period-correct leather sling (un-issued condition). the bayonet and dust cover are numbered but not matching to the gun. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There isn’t much actual finish loss, but there is spotty freckling throughout and light brown patina on the receiver. There is also some splotchy discoloration on the floor plate, trigger guard, and tang. The wood stock is excellent with only minor dings and dents here and there. The bore is mint.
