1/17/22 – This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its original bluing. There is very minor wear on the very front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There are a few small spots of wear on the right side of the slide and some light brown patina on the front strap. Areas of discoloration on the top of the barrel through the ejection port and on the left side of the rear sight. Both grip panels have been cut at the top. Comes with an excellent period-correct Walther magazine. The bore has strong rifling with areas of minor freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
