1/5/22 – This is an excellent example of a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt action rifle, chambered in .270 Winchester. From the serial number, it was manufactured in 1957. This one comes with a nice Redfield 1″ Tube scope (excellent, clear optics) and a very nice felt-lined hard case. The gun has retained most of its finish with minor wear around the front sight/muzzle and few small handling marks on the barrel and trigger guard. The aluminum floor plate says “Super Grade” and has almost no finish. The stock is very nice with minor scratches and chips in the varnish here and there. There is a small amount of surface rust on the scope rings. The bore is stone-mint.
