1/4/22 – This is an excellent example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 359” Nazi military acceptance proofs on the left side of the slide and frame. It is in excellent condition, retaining about 96% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard. There are also hints of wear on the high edges and a small area of wear at the base of the back strap. There are some tiny handling marks along the left side of the slide and some minor spotty discoloration along the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and a proper wartime magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling and very minor freckling in some of the grooves.
