12/16/21 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. This one has a fully intact mum stamp on the receiver, but the bolt is mismatched to the rest of the gun. it comes with an original bayonet and scabbard, cleaning rod, dust cover (does not match gun or bolt), and monopod. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is very little actual finish loss, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation throughout. There is thinning on the floor plate and trigger group. There are noticeable dings, dents, and scratches on the whole stock. There is a hairline crack that runs the length of the top of the foregrip. There are a few more significant gouges in the wood on the underside of the butt stock. The bore is near-mint – shiny with very strong rifling.
