12/8/21 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It is in excellent condition, retaining about 95-96% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is in the form of minor thinning on the front strap, so the profile views are minty. There are just hints of wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few very light surface scratches on the right side of the slide and frame. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips and a period-correct “Eagle 135”-makred Mauser magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
